1. Booking Policy
All bookings must be confirmed with the required advance payment of 30% – 50%.
Booking confirmation will be provided only after receiving the deposit.
The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour or as per the agreed payment schedule.
Prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice until the booking is confirmed.
2. Payment Terms
Payments can be made through bank transfer, UPI, or other approved payment methods.
The Himalayan Monks is not responsible for additional bank charges or transaction fees charged by your payment provider.
Failure to complete payment within the specified time may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing via email or official communication.
Cancellation charges will apply as per the cancellation policy of The Himalayan Monks.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time after cancellation confirmation.
Any cancellation charges imposed by hotels, transport providers, or other service providers will be deducted from the refund.
4. Changes in Itinerary
The Himalayan Monks reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather conditions, road conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives in such situations.
5. Travel Documents
Travellers are responsible for carrying valid identification documents such as an Aadhaar Card, passport, or other government-approved ID.
Any costs arising due to lack of proper documentation will be borne by the traveller.
6. Hotel & Transport
Hotels and rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
In case the listed hotel is unavailable, a similar category hotel will be provided.
Vehicle type will be provided as mentioned in the package, based on group size.
7. Responsibility & Liability
The Himalayan Monks acts only as a travel organiser and is not responsible for delays, accidents, natural disasters, weather conditions, or actions of third-party service providers.
We are not liable for loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our control.
8. Traveller Responsibilities
Travellers are expected to:
Follow local laws and regulations
Respect hotel and transport policies
Maintain proper behaviour during the tour
Any damages caused to hotel property or vehicles will be the responsibility of the traveller.
9. Force Majeure
The Himalayan Monks shall not be responsible for any delay or cancellation caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Landslides
Weather conditions
Government restrictions
Strikes or road closures
